ClinOpshub was proudly present, through the participation of its collaborator Manuela Taurisano, at the 3rd National Congress of the Italian Society of Pediatric Rheumatology (REUMAPED), held from October 17 to 19, 2024, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Lecce. The congress was chaired by Dr. Adele Civino, Head of the Pediatric Rheumatology and Immunology Unit at Vito Fazzi Hospital in Lecce.
As a CRO based in Southern Italy, ClinOpshub assists the local study coordinator of the Pediatric Rheumatology and Immunology Unit of Vito Fazzi Hospital by providing remote study management services. Our involvement in these events reflects our commitment to advancing clinical research and pediatric autoimmune and rheumatic diseases innovation.
The congress brought together national and international experts (i.e Prof Ozen, Prof Ravelli, Prof De Benedetti, Dr Gattorno) who discussed groundbreaking topics, including new therapeutic strategies for juvenile idiopathic arthritis, lupus nephritis, and autoinflammatory diseases. Noteworthy presentations also focused on the transition of care from pediatric to adult rheumatology and the importance of patient-centered approaches, with contributions from patient associations and families.
Manuela Taurisano’s participation highlights ClinOpshub’s role in fostering innovation and collaboration with local hospitals. By supporting the Pediatric Rheumatology Unit in Lecce, we aim to contribute to better healthcare outcomes for children affected by rheumatic and immunologic diseases.
We look forward to further opportunities to enhance clinical research with the key opinion leader Dr Adele Civino who is ready to be involved as Principal Investigator in clinical trials, and we look forward to collaborating with medical professionals and researchers in advancing clinical research in the whole Italy.
