Role and Objectives

The Junior IT Specialist supports the operational management of the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring the proper functioning of the technological devices used at the company’s premises and providing first-level technical support to colleagues.

The successful candidate will also contribute to the digitalisation of internal processes, access management, and basic cybersecurity activities.

 

Main Responsibilities

• Perform routine and extraordinary maintenance on PCs, monitors, printers, telephones, tablets, Wi-Fi networks, and other company devices;
• Provide first-level technical support in the event of hardware or software issues involving printers, PCs, telephones, or videoconferencing tools;
• Manage IT activities related to employee onboarding and offboarding, including the preparation, configuration, allocation, return, and reassignment of company devices;
• Create, update, and maintain an inventory of technological devices, software licences, and their allocation to users;
• Prepare and configure technological equipment for business trips, in-person training courses, events, webinars, and off-site meetings;
• Manage, update, or support the process of changing passwords and access credentials for company systems;
• Support the creation of automations between websites, contact forms, CRM systems, email platforms, communication tools, and other company applications;
• Liaise with external IT suppliers and partners to manage issues relating to the network and technological infrastructure;
• Collaborate with different company departments to identify technological needs and propose appropriate operational solutions.

 

Requirements

• High school diploma or university degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field;
• Basic knowledge of hardware, operating systems, networks, cloud productivity tools, and commonly used business software;
• Familiarity with the configuration and management of PCs, printers, telephones, user accounts, and mobile devices;
• Knowledge of automation tools such as Zapier or equivalent platforms;
• Previous experience, even limited, in managing Microsoft 365 or similar cloud environments;
• Basic knowledge of CRM systems, ticketing systems, e-learning platforms, and web forms;
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, password management, backups, and access control;
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Working knowledge of English.
